It's because Zero didnt want yuki to get hurt! kaname on the othe hand erases yuki's memory, and he DOES NOT treat yuki as a treasure! Zero does!

I want to object at something said in the begining of this video:'Now Yuki Cross must chose between her friend and her one true love'...Kaname is definitely NOT her one true love...Sure,she likes him,but he's not her true love.I think she truely loves Zero,she just hasn't realised it yet!!
