Dear Octo, It is good to see you again. It really does hurt to be misunderstood, and we all have been. Many years ago, in my hospital bed, I listened to a young Larry King talk for hours about exploits with his boyhood friends from Brooklyn. Very funny, I thought.
Starting in Nov.2009 I have now finally completed 3 cateract operations (no, I only have two eyes). Now I can see clearly and w/o glasses for the first time in my life.
Keep talking to us. I'll never forget my 8 yrs in NYC.

Dear GP, Thanks again for your friendly comments. Congratulations on successful surgery. Seeing clearly without glasses at our age is a miracle.
Ah yes, good old Brooklyn. I remember the lecture we all got before being discharged from the US Navy. We were told not to act like those people from Brooklyn. All eyes turned towards me and nobody smiled! Bye now, take care.
