I just read _Money Shot_, and I thought it was one of the best novels Hard Case Crime has published: tightly plotted, briskly-paced, and as funny as it was violent. Ever wonder what noir would be like if the femme fatale was the main character? Read _Money Shot_, and wonder no more. I will definitely be looking for more books by Christa Faust.

I'm there Christa. Hoodtown was one of the best noir-ish books in the last decade in my opinion. You can count on my purchase of 10 or more at least between the ones I buy and keep and the ones I force my friends (via hammerlock) to read. Afterall, some things just have to be done.

She has long dark hair at the beginning then later cuts it short and bleaches it when disguised as a boy. The cover painting is pretty much a perfect image of Angel as I imagined her.
