Home Made Canon lens adapter to sony Nex-vg10

I have a 5dmk II and i recently bought a Sony Nex vg-10. Both cameras have their interestic features, but i had the curiosity of sharing Canon Lenses. This is just an adapter i built using:
-Camera body Cap (sony)
- Canon lens Cap
- A heated knife (so i could cut plastic)
- Sandpaper

- Pvc Pipe (if youre interested in making a macro adapter(to extend focal distance))
-Hot glue gun.

If someone haves a crazy idea so it can lock the adapter to the lens or camera body please feel free to share some info.

hi i have a sony nex-5n and i want to use my canon lens on it, and i already try some adaptors but the camera give a message that can't recognized the lens attached,when i press to get the shot doesn't work no pictures and videos can be take, do you have any idea what kind of adaptor it will work? THX

@rodysk8 I think there is a setting in the camera where you select something like Shoot without lens function. Then the camera works without the need of an oficial lens.

ah ok i will do that thx,and i also saw your setting 60p use 125 shutter speed right? its ok if i put my manual aperture of the lens on 3.5 or should i try put as close to the f22 or doesn't matter cause im shooting that wide 6.5mm fisheye, its for skateboard!
