MMSYSTEM - Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street theme remix)

Seeing as New Line Cinema saw fit to remake a classic, I thought I would attempt to bring the theme tune more up to date.

Normally I dabble with trance music. This is my first attempt at a different genre, whatever you want to call it.

I tried to keep as much of the "atmosphere" that was present in the original as possible, while adding a more modern style to it.

@djgobby I could see Freddy dancing to this in a club full of people. I can't say I could blame him, or anyone for wanting to dance to this. It's HELLA AWESOME!!! Do you have any remixes of any of the other Horror franchise themes?

@Pantherykitty Thank you. :) Unfortunately, I don't have any other horror movie remixes, thus far I haven't had the inspiration. I really need to do something new, haven't spent any time in a multi-track editor for a while.

Where did you get the beat.

@J4W4D23 The drums samples were royalty free downloads from a website I can't remember the name of, but the drum pattern itself was done by me from scratch.

OMG, I love this remix. This is the best I have ever heard. The original theme music remixed to bring it into the here and now. Brilliant work. I am a fan of the original movies as well as the soundtrack. I am so impressed and New Line better give you Props !
