Zingeli Cape Buffalo Hunt

This was a successful Mozambique Cape Buffalo hunt caught on tape August 31st, 2009! Enjoy it! I did! The result was a 44" wide horn spread with 14 1/2" hard bosses on an old dugga boy weighing about 1,800 pounds!

In addition to a great hunt, there was plenty of time and animals for an excellent photographic safari too! I hope you get to go on one if you haven't already. An African safari is quite a special way to visit South Africa. Enjoy a private reserve if you can!

Reckless first shot

@80AFT you haven't hunted Cape Buffalo since you want an instant kill. It doesn't matter how well you place a shot or what caliber round you use with them because their heart is so big and strong that it continues to pump blood around long after the first shot. I will agree, however, that the first shot was not well placed or a good idea to take at that angle.
