How to import video into flash in order to rotoscope it, so that you can keep the sounds and get rid of the video after tracing.

Doesn't show you how to rotoscope, just import the video. Enjoy!

  • Is there a way to pan/crop the video?

I don't necessarily want the elements of the video that I'm going to 'scope to be framed the same way in my flash movie as they were in the original live-action shot. Or, is the easiest way just to draw what I want and then scale it down once I'm finished?

  • @mummyjohn Not that I know of...you could mask it of course, but since you're going to delete the video after it anyway...I'd just draw over what you want, and then delete it anyway.
