  • for the question "có... (verb) ... không", u could answer "co" (yes)

for example, "có hiểu không?", you can answer "có" instead of "hiểu"

"có muốn không?", you can answer "có" instead of "muốn"....

in conclusion, every question "có ... (verb) ... không" will be answer with "có" (yes) or "không" (no)....

  • @blueealge332 Thank you for your helpful comments.

  • srry but you pronounced "yeu" (love) wrong, in the vietnamese alphabet, the "y" is pronounce like the english letter "e" but longer version. So when you say "yeu" it's pronounced like "eww" lol to me it is anyways. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody that speaks with the south Vietnamese accent.

  • @Kevinophamaa Yes, you're right. I mispronounced it. Seems like I made a correction video about that, but it seems so long ago I don't remember. Thanks for your comments.

  • @b3b3gurl101 "Anh" not "ahn " Yup I'm a vietnamese boy I've been learning English for 6 years

  • my boyfriend is vietnamese and he started laughing when i told him "ahn yeu em" i learned that when you are a girl, the em comes before the ahn lol

  • First off, I really enjoy your videos! Second when saying 'Em co muon khong' I was really confused. Luckily I have a native speaker and she helps clarify things. She explained to me that the 'co' used in the sentence has an accent mark and means 'it' in a sense. The 'em' refers to her, or the person being asked. If you have any objections to that, I want to make sure I have this correct.

  • @costrocksauce... I also take into consideration what part of Vietnam the speakers are from. This influences whether speaker feels my accent is close or not. Example: In the North "What time is it sounds like "Bay zuh la may zuh", while in the South "Bay yuh la may yuh". I'm not sure about the middle but it's probably different.

  • = D i'm happy to see white peoples interest by our language . You know most of americans french see us as evil xD. I will upload a video this week I promise ^^

  • @costrocksauce Thanks. I'm serious when I say I will look forward to and subscribe to your videos. I was looking for "Learn Vietnamese" videos 4 years ago, and there were none, not one. So, I thought I could share a few words and phrases that I knew. The response was amazing. Every once in a while I would get comments like, "You have a North accent." and "You have a South accent." Sometimes on this particular video, someone would say The pronunciation should be more like "eeew" instead of yeu.
