In this clip, in a last-ditch effort to destroy the Death Spiral Machine, Kittan makes the ultimate sacrifice in one of the most badass moments in anime history. This clip is from Episode 25. Oh, and Kittan x Yoko haters can eat their hearts out.
I can't upload too many of these at once. I have a feeling if I keep sending in dispute forms the company that owns TTGL might think I'm abusing the dispute process (which I'm not, a section of copyright law clearly states clips can be uploaded for comment and criticism). So this is the last one for now.
The video's being stubborn and not stretching to fit the screen. Sorry about that. Fortunately, Kittan is awesome enough to not have to be stretched. He'll pierce the heavens anyway. And the video supports HD, which is a nice plus.

Out of all the anime I've watched the deaths in Gurren Lagann were the only moments that truly touched my heart . .

This scene made me cry so much.
A man stealing a kiss from the girl he loved in silence for the last 7 years, and yet going for a certain death to save her and the whole universe in a last dying wish... this while listening to one of the best music in the anime world.
Such a beautiful but terrible moment, heartbreaking for ever.
