Was hoping for a plain English, introductory explanation, with diagrams or screenshots. I don't think an engineer was the best choice of interviewee, especially when I can read plenty of technical overviews at my own pace.
I agree, i am looking to figure out if the fail over is at the point of the servers "VMWARE OS" or the image OS. When their is a failover when does it fail over? hardware, bios, or just guest OS? Have you had any luck with this? as i see you posted this about 8 months ago.. any insight would be great..
Very hard to follow the flow of thought and relate to anything. Mentions a cluster, do you mean "protected machines" in an ESX server? Or a real cluster layer at the OS? I guess for some this video is useful but someone still coming up to speed makes very little sense.
