Animal Crossing: City Folk - Halloween

Obtaining the Spooky series is done the same way it is done in Animal Crossing for GameCube, you must give the candy to Jack.

Just as in that version, Jack will be the only one that WON'T chase you. When you notice someone that isn't chasing you, talk to them because they are for sure Jack. Present him with candy and get a piece of the series. Simple enough eh? It can take a long time though. It took me an hour and a half to get him to fork over the Spooky carpet and wall.

- Spooky Vanity
- Spooky Clock
- Spooky Sofa
- Spooky Bookcase
- Spooky Wall
- Spooky Carpet
- Pumpkin Head*
- Patched Shirt*
- Jack-in-the-Box*

*Randomly obtained from presenting Jack or a villager with an item that isn't candy, or no candy at all. This is the trick part. ;P

As far as trick-or-treating goes. I wasn't able to make any of the villagers give me candy. So I'm not sure how this is done (seeing as it was shown in a Japanese video), you probably need an matching outfit or something (Shoes included?). Tortimer doesn't give out anything either. No more Katrina's Tent model. =(

P.S. They won't remove your pattern from your clothes this time either. I made a pattern similar to Jack's, they won't give you a patched shirt unless you are wearing a normal shirt item.

Can trick or treating and finding Jack be done in Animal Crossing on the GameCube also..? I had a GC and they won't let me buy City Folk for wii now :P

and pumpkin head and i had one green candy but i had to give it away.... and nook only had one piece of candy sooo wat do i do? i got nothing to give jack...and i cant trick or treat to other animals..

@LunaTheHunter11 you can buy them at tom nooks or on the night of Halloween you can dress up and go to your neighbors house's and trick or treat and get candy from them =D

all I got was 2 (4 i sold them) jack-in the- box things and a spooky vanity because I had 2 pieces of candy and i used one but I don't know what happened to the other :/
