My best guess is that Rudi is trying to get mad Miek on board. That'd be the only drummer to match Rob - and that's because Mike, unlike Rob, is a fucking amazingly good singer too. On the other hand, Rob can play blues harp while drumming. Go see the X-Ray Men if you want to see him do that one :-)

rob louwers is definitely the best FUZZTONES drummer since the bands incarnation...TOO BAD he isn't doing the farewell tour dates...wonder why???

rob is a killer drummer....he should be doing ALL of the farewell tour gigs in europe...he is definitely the BEST fuzztones drummer in their whole career...

Sure that's Rob! Great guy indeed; I still play with him in The X-Ray Men, and we go way back... since the Ace-Tones, in fact, and later on we both played with Rudi (in the Jaymen), Link Wray, and last summer we toured with Robert Gordon and Chris Spedding. There's plenty of evidence of that on YouTube, too!
