@matthewcardinals More like 700+ HP from 2.4 liters, since 2006. The 1.6L formula is set for 2013, and it won't be 1000 HP by any stretch.
I've got a 1.6L in my Datsun truck, and it put out about 90HP fresh from the factory, so to get close to 1000HP is to get over ten times the horsepower that Nissan's best engineers could put into general production at the time for a marketable price. I mean, I could see topping 400HP, with a lot of cash...
Just look up Formula 1 engines on wikipedia...

@psymansays You do know 1.6 liter F1 engines make over 1000 horsepower... 4 cylinders too. 2.4 liters getting 800hp is not hard if you have money.

never said it was the same .... the single cam ka24de is just like the twin ( dual ) just like a single cam b16 or the DOHC b16 yes different names ( ka24de ., ka24e ) but still put in the same car
