We're the Government -- and You're Not (768x576)

This is a high-resolution version of my five-year old short film that's been online here for about three years. I'm leaving the low-res version, but the quality is much higher with this one. (It was shot in standard definition, so this is about as good as it can get.) This was made as a comedic short film for entry into film festivals. It played at 20 film festivals and won five awards. I think a lot of people feel disenfranchised and have simply stopped voting because they look at both dems and repubs and see a bunch of hypocrites who don't really stand for anything. The two only really stand for the principles when they're out of power. Once they're in they both send us hurtling toward more government control. Most people want to be left alone and to have a small unobtrustive federal government. The party that does that is in power from now till kingdom come.
