UNEXPECTED- Ch. 9

[It was now 6 pm, Nick and I spent most of the day talking about life... always avoiding the fact that we had confessed our love for each other the day before. That worried me, what if he was going to do something that night at our date? I wasn't ready even thought I'd been ready all my life. I wanted to take the almost kiss with Joe out of my head, why was it that difficult? Ugh. I showered, called my best friend Sarah and she helped me with the outfit.
"Thank you soo much Sarah, I'll see you tomorrow" I said trying to cut it there
"Wait there missy, you didn't tell me..." she said.
I sighed; I was going to tell her but later.
"I promise I'll tell you tomorrow, I can't just say it now" I said hoping she'd understand
"You better..." she said.
We both laughed and hang up. She's the most amazing friend I have, she's been always with me since we met, I'm glad I have her with me. She's pretty much like me, well, she's three years older but she acts younger than me almost everyday. She can get serious when she wants, that's one thing I love about her, she's really mature and caring
I put on some make up and I had my hair in a messy ponytail. I'm not a girly girl but I wanted to be pretty anyways. I waited for Nick 20 minutes and then I heard the doorbell, I ran and opened it and for my surprise I didn't feel the same way as I'd felt with Joe but I was glad with the things that way. I smiled and hugged him.
"I missed you" he said giving me flowers
"They are beautiful" I said smelling them. "And it's been only two hours Nick"
He smiled and came in. I put in flowers in water and grabbed my keys.
"Ready?" I asked.
"I should ask that" he said opening the door. I rolled my eyes and giggled stupidly.
We went to a not too fancy restaurant, there were a lot of people there but mostly older people so there were only a few screaming girls. Nick signed autographs and took pictures with them. Big Rob took care of us and no one tried to bother Nick. We had fun, we ate and talk about everything. I really enjoyed it. We left the restaurant and went to the beach, typical Nick. We watched the stars and remembered the things we did when we were younger till the moment came.
"Remember the day I left? When I cried like a girl" he said laughing quietly
I turned around to face him. "How can I not?" there was an awkward silence.
"It was my first kiss" he said whispering not loud enough for me to here... that's what he thought. I smiled widely.
"It was mine too" He looked at me and laughed.
"It was amazing" he said not embarrassed anymore. "I know right" I said laughing again. We both sighed at the same time.
"Can I ask you something?" he said and grabbed my hand.
"What is it?" I said worried
"What do you feel?" he said deeply
"Honestly? I know I loved you all my life and I still do, more than anything Nick... but this time, something is bothering me, something I cannot take off my mind, I like Joe not as in the brotherly way like I used to. I like like him" I bit my lip and saw Nick's face slowly turn sad and disappointed. "But I know I want to be with you, I just wanted to be honest and tell you the truth... I'm not ready yet but I'll show you how much I love you Nicholas..." he smiled and leaned in more and more till our noses were touching. "I love you" he said whispering, thing that made me melt inside. "I love you" I said closing my eyes. I could feel his warm breath, an inexplicable feeling.
Minutes later Kevin picked us up and they dropped me in my house; I gave them both a kiss on the cheek and walked inside. I closed the door and slowly sat on the floor with my back on the door and a huge smile in my face. Now, I did feel the unbelievable sensation, Nick was all I wanted, everything I needed.]
