Victor Ochieng, artist and resident of Austin along with Derrel Spicy are hosting Wired Art, an art exhibition to bring light to lack of communal art spaces in Austin. Ochieng and Spicy teach after school art programs to local children at the Westside Health Authority center said having an community art center would allow artists in Austin to have more opportunities to share their talents. The Wired Art exhibition will be open from March 18th to April 1 on Fridays at 4 to 8 p.m. at the Austin Wellness Center at 4800 W. Chicago Ave. Admission is free but donations are welcomed to assist with the establishment of an art gallery in Austin.
