HELLO!!!!!!! I take a Big Band here in Australia and at rehearsal tonight I showed the kids the version of this song that was done by Return of Simple. We were mesmorized and I promised I'd get on Sibelius this week and arrange it. But looks like you've done all the hard work. Feel like helping me out????

What fucking idiot used comic sans for the sign behind the band. He/she should be put to death. Tried to watch the video and listen to the music but the sign just makes me want to hurl.
Yeeahh, Charlie, I'm glad you have this on Youtube. I actually did a little better on the drums than I thought I did now that I've listened to this again, but I still wish the song wasn't cut in half, especially without me realizing it. For as short as it was already, it really wasn't necessary.

haha, yeah, we could have cut Airborne by 25% (as much as I liked that one) and saved 2x as much time =) Your drumming was fine, it just sounds like you didn't 100% know your part. Which is how all of us sounded a lot of the time lol.
also I remember *lol* at not closing with this...the people all hyped up and trying to clap in 7/4 when we played Airborne...

awesome cover dude. But you just kind of took exactly what was played in the original and transposed it for the instruments in your jazz band. I was hoping for it to have more a jazz feel. But still I know it takes a lot of work to do what you guys did. I was the keyboardist in my HS jazz band.

You're exactly right -- I don't actually like jazz music, or I might have done something more along those jazz lines you mention. I love changing the feel of songs, but mostly just within the rock/metal/techno genres (i.e. hard rock to soft rock, or the other way around) that I normally listen to.
