We're the first UK airline to take delivery of the long range Boeing 777-300ER.

The state-of-the-art aircraft, is longer, quieter and more fuel efficient than its predecessors and showcases the future face of British Airways.

It features an all-new interior including new World Traveller and new World Traveller Plus cabins and a new in-flight entertainment system.

It will feature more than 230 TV programmes, 70 films and 400 CDs, plug and play technology, as well as 60 per cent bigger high-resolution screens.

When it goes into service later this year, the 297 seat aircraft will offer a four class configuration including First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller.

  • In 2007 I flew from Orlando to London in the back of a 777. It was the most cramped uncomfortable flight I have ever been on.. And I always flew BA..

  • @fantasia33884 Hi - we're sorry if you had an uncomfortable experience then. We hope you will fly with us again in the future and give us another chance to impress. Thank you.

  • These aircraft anything new or state of the art. the first one flew in 1993 around 1000 have already been built.

  • You should bring back the Landor Livery. Designed by the New York firm Landor Associates, this livery helped transform the British Airways brand into a byword for sophistication and luxury in the mid-Eighties. The Landor scheme oozed understated British elegance and savoir faire; from the red Speedmarque along the lower fuselage to BA’s aristocratic coat of arms tastefully displayed above the Union Flag on the tail.

  • Nice video! I will think of flying this when I go to London in a few years. I've seen lots of companies that have recently bought this plane.

  • @fantasia33884 The seating on a Boeing airplane isn't determined by Boeing but the airline who's buying the airplane. If the seats were uncomfortable or cramped don't blame it on the 777 but on BA.

  • British Airways and Boeing should definitely be proud of this plane...it's an incredible aircraft, on of the best in the skies.

  • Interesting to see how the plane was built.. I'm proud of being on Board on the First flight of this plane :)

  • @p003872 I do believe the 777-200 LR just set the record for the longest single flight by any commercial aircraft. The -300 fuselage is longer and to support that they redesigned the wings. Boeing then took the wings from the 300 and slapped them on a -200 fuselage, making the 200LR.
