That spade looks heavy! Excellent control, Sifu.

Er, the martial arts combat weapon is just the crescent moon, as I read more on the web Monk's ended up having to carry the two ended version to avoid weapon's laws. I also saw a bunch of Shaolin forms with some of the spins so I guess this could have been influenced by those instead of the Hung Gar Kwan Dao form. Still one heck of a great form. The Ha Say Fu spade form is too darn short to get a workout, and nowhere near as photogenic as this.

Great form. Looks like someone took the Cantonese Kwan Dao form and the 8 Trigrams staff form and combined them. The actual combat Monk's Spade was just the crescent without the shovel, though, so this form is specialized to the two-ended weapon sold today.

Kudos on a very nice performance. Can you tell the name of the form and what it translates to? Thanks very much.

His sifu was sifu Chueng Shu Pui and his sifu is Holap Tin...who ovcourse studied under sifu Tang Fong...Anyways, Glad to see there is traditional Hung Gar Kung Fu in Greece..

Excellent performance, especially on such a long and complex set.
