Circle Of Life- The Lion King (lyrics)

I haven't uploaded a video in a long time, and I felt like I needed to soon. I wasn't sure which Disney movie to start off with next, but with yesterday's release of The Lion King in 3D, I decided I would do The Lion King. This was always my favorite Disney movie as a child.

Facts About: "Circle Of Life "

- The opening chant is in a language known as Zulu. It translates as: "Here comes a lion, Father / Oh yes, it's a lion / Here comes a lion, Father / Oh yes, it's a lion / A lion we're going to conquer / A lion a lion and a leopard come to this open place/"

- The song was composed by Elton John, and the lyrics were written by Tim Rice.

- Carmen Twillie sings the female vocals, and Lebo M. sings the opening chant.

- In 1994, "Circle Of Life" was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Song and won.

- "Circle Of Life" reached #11 in the UK and #18 in the US.

I saw this in 3D in October 2011!!!!! Best decision I ever made! People actually cheered when the credits started rolling at the end! Such an legendary film!
