This helped a lot. I've been avoiding Looper for what 2 years. Now I'm messing with it. Thanks

Dude, many thanks. I'm switching from a Boss RC-50 Loop Station to Live 8 and this (pt. 1 and 2) is some of the best info I've found to help me execute my intended use of Ableton Live. All my best man, I'll hit you with a vid once my multi-pedal foot controller gets here and I set it up!
P.S. I had no idea you could map multiple assignments to a single button/knob. So simple, but will open up new doors. Can't thank you enough nL

More inpsiration!
I like how you do this- looper sets tempo, but other tracks record into clipslots. In those tracks what is monitor set to? Can I also record a midi drum track this way?
Great stuff, Nico!

Thanxs for the the 2 ableton tutorials. And thanks for being so generous.
This is the most useful tutos I have seen up until now.
Came from Logic/Mainstage but had sync issues and then started with Ableton. So I look forward to some of your golden tricks to inspire me some more.
Good Vibes from Snowful Denmark :)
