Funeral of Major General Sadiqur Rahman Chawdhury, TQA

Major General Sadiqur Rahman Chawdhury, TQA died on 03 Nov 2008 in Dhaka Combined Military Hospital. His death brought a irrepairable loss to Bangladesh. He served in many different important positions in his service life including Military Secretary to Late President Ziaur Rahman, PSO to President, General Officer Command 55 Infantry Division, General Officer Commanding 11 Infantry Division, Adjutant General of AHQ, Director General of BDR (Border Security Force) and in many other important places. He was widely known for his professionalism and compassion and often he was called as Lion Heart General. In this video Late Major General Shakil is showing respect by guard of honor in his funeral. Very unfortunately General Shakil and most of the officers present in the funeral were brutally killed by traitors and terrorist about 4 months later.
