@dojmike So far Rylan, Chaz, and Kary1982 have volunteered. And the decided weapon is .22 cal. It's slated for the beginning of August.
-
@briansmobile1 Hey, be sure to make a video of the ground to air assault. If you have a good shooter, then you shouldn't need the landing gear after all.
-
@dojmike I'm telling you the next time that plane goes airward it's coming down full of bullet holes. This Flyzone plane is a P.O.S. designed to fail and make the hobby store money on parts. BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

@briansmobile1 Precisely. The challenge would then be where to mount the servo. Maybe just cut out a piece of thin modeling plywood to frame the servo and then epoxy the plywood to the foam. Happy flying!
-
@dojmike Maybe like a "Y" splitter on the same rudder channel?
-
I think I would have just added an extra servo to serve just the steerable front wheel. Your control rod is just too long which is why it is discombobulating the front wheel. I would mount the servo as close to the front as possible to make for a short control rod.

I want to get into model R/C airplanes soo bad.
I have flown this model for 7 months with no landing issues, land on the rear wheels 1st then bring down the front and all will be well...check my vids.

@SICMRR My "runway" is short, but there are trees on each end of it. I'm a helicopter pilot. Planes I'm still learning to plan further ahead. I'm glad you're getting good use of yours. I'm abandoning the landing gear all together and putting ski's on it.
