Footage taken by an Oregon Scientific cam fixed to the front forks of a Carrera Virtuoso road bike. Covers the journey from Putney High Street to St Pauls Cathedral in central London (edited and shortened). Music (thanks to rubbish in camera audio) is from "Danyi & Burgundy - PureSound Sessions 174 Gordon Coutts Guest mix 30-06-2010" - an online radio mix.

  • It's a large size frame. I'm close to 6'2" so would suggest you consider their medium size (bikes are classified small/medium/large and I think sometimes in extra large too). They can fit you up on the bike to make sure it is the right size in the store.

  • Glad to see more cycle lanes appearing in London though still congested - a long way to go before we reach Amsterdam standards. Looks like a nice day - thanks for the ride!

  • Can I ask which size Virtuoso your ride ?, I am waiting for my cycle to work voucher to arrive so I can pick mine up, not sure of the size though. I am about 154 cm (5ft8) and leg length of about 79 cm (31")

  • You cycle a LOT closer to vehicles than I do!

  • Classic!

  • Great video and soundtrack but you should get up earler to avoid the traffic! PeterS
