KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) -- The Northern Kentucky Health Department is reporting its first flu death this season.The organization says a Kenton County man recently died of complications from the flu. The department says the man was middle-aged and had a history of chronic health problems that may have made him more susceptible to the flu.331 flu cases have been reported to the Northern Kentucky Health Department through January 4. Statewide, Kentucky is reporting widespread flu activity, meaning that outbreaks of influenza or increases in influenza-like cases and recent laboratory-confirmed influenza in at least half the regions of the state.
