  • @bluejupiter100 me too; love his jangle pop style, great songs, harmonies, chord changes, etc. very cool guy, great musician

  • underrated. tight lyrics and upbeat tunes. Really well-structured songs at a time when only a few seem in full command of the craft: and just the right combination of irony, cynicism and optimistic sunniness. I love this guy.

  • As some said earlier...........'thank you for putting a great selection of Marshall Crenshaw songs. His songs are truly amazing, inspirational and warming!!!!!!

  • @easlesonavon Wow...16??? LOL...I was only 19. That song made me a fan, and, I'll always be one.

  • @southroncross It was just terrific. His song "Some Day, Some Way" had just hit big, and that was the song he opened with. I have to admit that, being 16 at the time, I was woefully unaware of his other work. But I've had a long time to "discover" his great music and talent.

  • @easlesonavon That had to be one of the very best shows of that year. What a great pairing.

  • This Mary Ann loves this song!!

  • He sang this when he opened for Hall and Oates in 1982. He was great!

  • @TreeOfLife1972 - mine, too!... i was about to comment, saying the same thing :D

  • One of the loveliest songs ever written!
