Are your consultations just 10 or 15 mins long? I would find it difficult to develop rapport with the client and to get sufficient details about their issue in such a short amount of time. The vast majority of hypnotherapists I know and have discussed techniques with will spend at least an hour with a client finding out about their issues before even thinking about hypnotherapy.

A first Hypnotherapy session lasts 15 minutes longer, with really nervous clients I have been know to spend an extra hour, before putting them into a Hypnotic trance. It can take between 1 and 5 sessions to help a client, but requires the the client to listen daily to the tailor made hypnotherapy recording I provide them to take away on CD, between sessions. I tend to work monthly with clients, but if necessary can see them every two weeks. I have been working with individuals for 11 years.
