@seiryuukun 'to be' verbs are very dull and boring...the English language has more words in it than any other language on earth, so there is no reason to use 'to be' verbs...'to be' verbs are is am are was being, etc. etc.

My penis is large ----"is large" ---that is a to be verb

My penis encompasses the whole internet ---now that is more expressive

This is what you can do with a magnificent language like English that has more ways of expressing itself than any other language ever developed

@yahoopl3 What he means is that unlike English, Spanish verbs change with every pronoun. English mostly adds ans 's' in 3rd person singular whereas Spanish conjugate verbs differently with every pronoun and tense. Also Spanish have more tenses and a broad vocabulary which means that one thing can have more than one or two names to be called. Just look at verb 'to be' in English; in Spanish 'to be' is two verbs: ser/estar. A distiction English collected in one verb.
