  • Mike- you are an awesome man. You are extremely smart and also very dedicated to your ideas which many of us share as well. I just purchased a 2000 Honda Insight for 2900 US dollars which has a bad Hybrid battery. The car has 311,000 miles and still runs like new. I've followed the directions on how to bypass the Hybrid system on insight central and I've been driving my insight and still getting a solid 57mpg. I really look forward to running your MIMA system some day soon :) Thank you Mike :)

  • SHANE ADDIE IS HOTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

  • Wow . Good work sir.

  • Mike is a real american. Can do spirit, not in it to rip people off.

  • Well lets take it the other way. In Iowa, the city, not farmland, the use of a truck or suv is almost esential because the lifestyle is totally different. A huge highway commute is not really there. also my figures were in then current gas costs plus reasonable increases. It didnt pay to switch then. I agree we are getting closER now.

  • Yes, but the truck burns 4 to 6 times the fuel that the Insight does (your silverado...10-15 mpg. My bro's Insight...65-80mpg). If one isn't hauling anything (as it's usually the case with many in So. California), then it's a waste. One has to factor in the social costs of burning so much gas to haul one person driving in town. If you consider future arab conflicts, pollution and the likes, then the full size truck costs much more to drive than the hybrid!

  • Mike Dabrowski is a wonderful person, and a super engineer and inventor. What he has done for for Insight owners is nothing short of incredible. I have one of his MIMA systems in my Insight and I have gained 15% on my MPG!

  • Brushless motors are inexpensive, even as generators. So Im up for one of these cars as soon as they're about 15000 bucks....tiny tin car price + motor and system factory install price. In fact, ill take 2

  • yeah, I owned a 2000 silverado truck that got horrible milage but was nice, power everything. I figured it out then, it would take longer than a reliable life of the car to make up the cost of the car. (truck and hybrid were nearly same price then). Now with a full power car it would still take almost 8 years to make up with no maintenence or upgrades

  • thats awesome. i want a hybrid car but i cannot afford one.
