It 5.50 am and Richie Hawtin (aka Plastikman) is bringing his set to a close. The film joins the night as Richie Hawtin is dropping the new tune "Pull Push" by Gaiser in before unleashing a classic gem that all Plastikman fans will recognise. Teaming with the mind bending visuals produced by Ali Demirel this film is designed to take the viewer on that journey that most search for from this kind of music.

Thanks for watching and please subscribe for more, there is a lot lined up for 2010!

Good times

get ur point, but listen this "good techno" at home.

    at the party, Hawtin kills.

Agreed but as someone who has been involved since the 80s I can't help but feel despair to see underground dance floors the world over reject music with soul as "chill out" and put DJs whose sets are so unadventurous on a pedestal. No wonder less people flock to the underground banner when the torch bearers play such obscure stuff. Lets face it underground music will never enjoy the kind of success it used to have whilst crowds think the height of musical bliss is adding a snare to a kick.

Minimal shminimal. Hawtin has good technical skill but his tunes have got no soul. If you want good techno check Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Carl Craig, Juan Atkins or Derrick May.
