Nice cover. I can't tell with 720p HD if the hi-hat is playing 4/4 or 8/8? Maybe you have a bit too much reverb on the track. With the original I really like the mix of acoustic drums and electronic percussion between the beats and the fact that the track is really tight and simple.

Brilliant, mate! This kicks some serious ass, I wish I could add vocals on it!

Spot on ,,,,,, let me put the vocals on

I think that all of the arrangements on this album, as well as its sister album "The Riddle," are masterpieces for much the same reasons that you describe in the video info section... Kershaw is one of the most brilliant and underrated song-writers and music-arrangers of all time.

Awesome song! Love the bass line and the drum track too.
You have a Yamaha QX-1?! I have one of those monsters too. lol I have the QX-3 that works perfectly to this day. My QX-1 worked but the disk drive was not working well. Both sequencers are awesome machines. Beautiful Jupiter-8 too!

Yeah, them 5,25-inch floppies are anciet and prone to ailments.
This QX1 I haven't used yet, it was chucked in as a freebie when I bought the TX816. Amazing about the QX1 is that it has 8 MIDI-Outs.
I love old sequencers, as they're very hands-on.
The MSQ700 is even more excentric.
Will do a video on that soon.
