The Best Candidate to support "Seniors" is Ron Paul. The chief reason seniors have to depend on gov't healthcare is the shear cost (opportunity costs and residual costs) of gov't regulation. Those industries that have limited gov't regulations prices go down as tech goes up. I.E Computer Hardware and Software industries. Alternatively, in Healthcare, as Tech goes up, Prices also go up - why? Heavy Gov't Regs!

AARP isn't concerned about retired persons, it's concerned about selling retired persons insurance. That's why AARP marginalizes support for a national health insurance program i.e. Single Payer.

How about COSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to health care. No more AARP, HMO'S, managed care etc. U get your medical needs met, you get & review bill, send to FED GOV and the Drs. & hosp get set fee. EQUAL health care for all. Why isn't that what these folks advocate for ? Oh we wouldn't need them and they tell gov what WE want.
