Within the arising and fast growing trend of the Personalized Healthcare, the promising Personalized Health Informatics (PHI) asks to be understood, modeled, implemented, and tested. Major actors are the patient, the general practitioner, the specialist, and clinical community. The central idea of "keeping healthy lifestyle", that grounds the development of PHI systems, needs to be extended to the digital multigenerational family group, where the middle generation (the "parents"), manages the responsibility of taking care and improving the health of the weaker members (children and grandparents). We modeled, designed and implemented a prototype for the health data management in a vertical family environment, which minimizes the "digital divide" excluding unskilled individuals on information and communication technologies from the use of Personal Health Record (PHR) systems. Archiving has to be compliant to a set of requirements regarding the entry, the storing, and the securing of data, affordable for a default family environment, without major inner conflicts and characterized by member's agreement. Beyond the technological aspects, the exploitation perspectives, to large populations, of a prototype like this will greatly depend both from organizational and marketing aspects of the healthcare systems where it will be inserted.

---ABOUT THE e-HEALTH LAB---
*Serving the patients by serving doctors and institutions*. This is the motto of the Politecnico di Milano *eHealth Laboratory*, active in research and education.

Main *research* areas are finalized to the emerging Personalized Health Informatics (PHI), to the solution of the difficulties in the widespread adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), as well as to the use of Biometrics for safe and secure access to healthcare and clinical databases.

*Education* is cared through the Healthcare Information and Communication Technology (HICT) in the Biomedical Engineering curricula. Recent and newly designed textbooks serve the needs of both curricular and continuing education.

The eHealth Lab promotes the application of computer sciences, artificial intelligence, mathematics, databases, data protection, genomic and proteomic data analysis, and biomedical ontology.

Cooperation with governmental offices, academic institutions, companies, healthcare providers, is welcome.

In proposing *The Medical Tech Tube*, we would speed up the YouTube effectiveness for Medicine. The proposed classification grid will be soon available at http://www.ehealth.polimi.it/MedicalTubeGrid.aspx
