In this episode, Congressman Roy Blunt cements his position as a true power broker and the ultimate Washington insider. In a development described as "revolutionary" by the Washington Post, Blunt and DeLay actually outsource some the business of lawmaking to corporate special interest lobbyists. Dubbed "Blunt Inc.," Blunt's political machine extends deep into Washington's K Street lobbying community and helps the Congressman raise millions from corporate special interests. According to National Journal, Blunt transforms "an effective but loosely organized initiative into a formalized structure for enlisting the party's K Street allies to advance the House Republican agenda."
