It'll look totally awesome when textures are added.

My only complain is at 0:56 ....since lasers are technically light/energy they should not be casting a shadow on the ship but rather illuminating it.

Hi, i hope you visit my newer vids. there youre can see the improvement of the models and animations. surely i editing the final laser/phaswer/ beam weapon so then no make a shadow in the film. this vid was anearly testing video of possible szenes.

the stargate model could get more details .. but good work ;)

Wie schon mehrmals erwähnt, ist dieses Vid aus meinen frühen Tagen im Programm 3dMax. Das Schiff und auch andere Modelle wurden in den folgenden Jahren mehrfach überarbeitet, wie man an meinen neueren Vids sehen kann. Klick einfach auf die Video-Antwort hier, dann kannst du selbst vergleichen, wie das Modell mit der Zeit an Qualität zugelegt hat.

I hope you're aware a Daedalus-class cruiser will never fit throug a regular sized (6,5m) diameter stargate?

Nice rough cut though. Hope to see more in the future, and maybe some presence at the European conventions (FACTS or FedCon)?

@Risket  That's alright, since the Daedalus has rail guns instead of lasers. They fire actual projectiles, not energy.
