american rap is pure bullshit, the only good rap music is made in japan, and 9 times out of 10 it is on a japanese role playing game's soundtrack. and that is quintillion times better than their american "counterparts"

@MrSuspiciousPerson Those same things are in Opera, and they have to maintain perfect melody and pitch, among other things. If you are a person who refuses to address the facts of the matter it shows everything. Do not personalize this, it's why all you have is argumentum ad hominem

@ATENakaATON You just don't get it do you. I am telling you that you're looking for an argument that won't change my perspective on hip hop ANYWAY. It's pointless to argue. I can go into great detail about the few complexities of lyricism, word delivery, timing, and voice with hip hop, but I won't. I'm not going to waste my time arguing about a subject that we will BOTH have the same outlook on at the end of the argument anyway. Leave it be man. Just leave.. it.. be.

@ATENakaATON So I'll reiterate, Rap music is a simpler form of Opera because it comes from a simple minded culture which is reflected in the poor grammar, poor vocabulary, and materialistic/shallow concepts in the themes. I would also point out nearly all producers are incapable of actually creating music with instruments so they have to sample. I presented the beginning of my case, do you refute any of this, or are you going to keep attacking me personally instead of my points.

@MrSuspiciousPerson Now if your saying none of these things are true then why don't you show some evidence what I stated is a fallacy? Show how in a technical sense Rap is on par with Opera, which would be like comparing an auto mechanic to a rocket engineer, show how Hip Hop is sophisticated, I doubt you can do this any more than you can do this with The Cat in the Hat next to Macbeth, show some proof of what you type, instead of resorting to argumentum ad hominem.

@MrSuspiciousPerson What is opinion about it? Hip Hop music is not half as complicated as Classical, a simple fact. Second fact is most, not all, but almost all of music coming out of Hip Hop is grammatically incorrect, comprised of words which are less than what one would find in an English high school curriculum, and is materialistic. Based on the facts I feel safe concluding Hip Hop music is a simple form of music for simple minded people, this is why they have to sample.

Rap music is sticking this image onto black people (I am black myself) that is drugs hoes, booty and gold teeth while only a few of us are like that everything mrpregnant just said is the complete and utter truth it disgusts me how some people enjoy and prefer this so called "music" to something such as R&B. Rap used to mean something, people used to communicate their struggles and other peoples struggles through rap but now....smh. I'm done talking Thumbs up if you agree
