This is such a amazing car, great design mixed with impressive power. I just wish the front hood didn't have such a poor fit with the front pillars.

i side with the 5.0 coyote guy, i had the same idea. they can use a T-56 vette trany so it should good up to the transaxle with little to no modification
-
@t2bt2b because GM are so far behind compared to high tech german engineering or italians. but yea ur right i never noticed the poor fitment of that A pillar looks so cheap. i almost went for one thank god i realised that on time.
-
@t2bt2b Yeah, agree with you on the engine part..
A 2011 Coyote 5.0 engine would be awesome, they're pumping more power per liter than the antidiluvian GM's pushrod anchors...
-
Can another engine be put in this car? So now you are pushing about 480hp, that's insane. What is the torque psi? Also what is the gear ratio?
-
What kind of exhaust is that car running? It sounds incredible. Im always curious where people get exhausts for these cars. I can never tell if they are custom exhausts or already made just for this car
-
@KevA0815 that's a test mule car. When you build one, the fit is all on you. The one they have there at the factory sits much better now

@fs93543 Yes - they are.

@BAJANCHAMELEON The Corvette LS6 engine often put in GTMs is 5.7 liters and produces approx 30 mpg at legal highway speeds. The GTM is lighter than a Corvette, so could conceivable better that. Advanced technology produces great mpg with great performance, regardless of higher displacement - especially with tall gears and 'sensible' driving. It's false to automatically assume big displacement means lousy fuel economy. Displacement-to-economy technology is far more evolved than you think.
-
@BAJANCHAMELEON What's 'sensible mpgs'? Is 'sensible' determined by liberal environmental policy? Custom-built vehicles represent a TINY proportion of the vehicles on the road, and for those who don't agree with them, there's plenty of 'sensible' cars with 'sensible mpgs' - even in America now. The LS3 (Corvette base engine) is now available in Eco-rod guise, which even passes California's world-class liberal goals with zero modifications. You go live 'sensible', I have no objection to it.

THESE CARS ARE SCARY FAST

Americans are pretty wastefull 7000cc? What miles per gallon do you get with such a big engine? Does having such a light body result in sensible mpgs?

@BAJANCHAMELEON The GTM is getting about 20 MPG.
