One of the most creative contemporary French jazz musicians Emile Parisien Quartet gave their very first concert to jazz listeners in Latvia. In the intimate atmosphere of the legendary Latvia's Radio Studio Nr 1 the quartet literally grabbed the audience to take them in unforgettable journey to the world of modern jazz. The studio, now turned into a cozy concert hall, was filled with responsive music lovers and a very listening audience, which will certainly be appreciated by radio listeners all over the world as the concert was also recorded and broadcasted in EBU (European Broadcasting Union) member countries.
Thanks to band leader's - saxophonist Emile Parisien - and his band members mutual understanding and stunning interplay, the expressive sound of quartets play was supplemented by excellent jazz improvisations, which was greatly appreciated by the audience with ovations. The concert was emotionally intense; the quartet's pitch-perfect play was highly welcomed by mature jazz music lovers in the audience - it was an amazing journey in music with no limits!
