My brother and his wife and I were on a ride through Eunice Louisiana last year and me being somewhat of a music buff, happened on Savoy's Music Store. It was pretty cool and Mr. Savoy and an associate were so kind as to entertain us with a couple of songs and explained how on Saturday mornings they have an impromptu jam session. Well my wife and I went back in the car on a quick trip and drove almost the whole night to get there for this Saturday morning treat and what a treat it was for us. We got there about 9:30 a.m and cars were parked on the highway because the parking lot was full. We walked in and you would have thought everyone in there already knew us. We weren't the only out of "towners" there but we couldn't tell until we talked to them. The music was awesome and even though I don't understand a bit of French there were plenty of people there who did. This little video clip does not do justice to the passion of this music. It is obvious that this is a venue that Mr Mark Savoy allows in his shop which has becomes a tribute towared some very passionate musicians who are passionate about their culture. Each time they sing and play is a gift to all who has had the opportunity to hear their music . Thanks to all the guys and girls in this clip and thanks for the Boudin !
