I'm really curious on how did you get the particle effects to blend in with the background like that? ^^

It looks so sweet and I really want to learn how! ^^

Hey Matt

The bar at the top of the screen is a weapon energy meter.

You can now download and play Nebulon from the Creators.XNA website (it's in playtest).

Would love to get your feedback.

just wrote about your game in a forum, and remembered i wrote to you here. my feedback would be simple changes to be made (but i wouldn't be surprised if your reaction to this is that making these changes is changing your game in a way you do not wish to do), but here goes anyway:

1) regular dual-stick shooter controls.
2) no internia.
3) faster fire (makes aiming easier).
4) somewhat of spread shot but default (makes aiming easier).
5) no weapon power enery metter, infinite energy.

Cool, on what forum did you put your original comment?

It was on "The Next Level", in the community games thread. Someone had already commented that your game had hopes but the controls were bad. I was actually quite disappointed about this, because the technology behind your game was very promising. I responded there before even playing (I have played it now) because I already knew I would not have that "total control" I was expecting from a standard dual-stick shooter.

Curious, was this game originally a mouse-controlled PC game?
