Mary Hopkin is far and away my favorite singer. I was pleased to see that she is still recording and that new material is coming out of her own studio. The clarity of her voice has always taken my breath away.

McCartney and Hopkins did the fancy in the bed after making this song.

This is such a perfect song in all aspects. I have to listen to it at least a couple of times.
Mary has such beautiful eyes. Does anyone know if her eyes are blue or more greyish-green?

It is wonderful that Apple are at last making available footage from the past, But this is not the original Goodye film that was made back in 69, the footage of mary with the dog is from 1970 around the time of the Eurovision song contest.. THe film of Goodbye is quite long and features lots more of Paul working out the guitar parts for the song, and it's amazing, there's also lots more of Mary and the backing singers ..Shame it cannot be released in its full form.

The video shown was made by Apple Records as a promotional item only. The used some of the video that they had and remastered the quality, and shortened it to match the length of the single, they were trying for quality, rather than reprocessing the original, if you look at the Badfinger video (No Matter What), they kept the original video, but could not upgrade the quality. Thanks for your comment, I will try and see if I can get the full version.

Do you meant Apple are going to release some (or) of her videos for sale some day?

What I meant was that they intend to have more videos on their web site, but it would be a good idea to include them on disc, the same way that they did with the Beatles remastered albums.
