June 6, 2009 at Luminato Arts festival in Toronto an attempt was made to break a world record for the most people assembled in one place to play one song. The Previous record was from 2007 in Germany to the tune "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple.

A Cross-Canada debate took place over what song should be the attempted song. Well, with simple D, A, G chords, repeated over and over, The Country couldn't have made it more simple.
