performing performance

This is an attempt to show the process and awareness of performing. Part of process, I become aware of internal narcissistic desires within the basis of performance itself. I also allude to contemporary performance practices on the internet such as You Tube, and draw the correlation of its aesthetics with that of video art from the 70s. Also stemming from this process of self-awareness, I also point out power relations between the performer and the audience, pointing to the assumptions and expectations of the performer and their role in society as a performer.
