American Airlines and America Supports you Texas recently paid tribute to a group of veterans with a three-day trip to Washington D.C. aboard Honor Flight. Volunteer employees and crew flew 75 World War II Veterans on "Flagship Liberty," American's Yellow Ribbon 737 aircraft, to see their memorial and to honor those left behind. With a water-cannon salute and multiple wreath dedication ceremonies, it was "honor from start to finish."

  • I will always try to fly American Airlines!! The offer a great Military discount that enabled my son stationed in England with the USAF to attend his grandfather's funeral and serve as a pallbearer. Thank you American Airlines!

  • Great job, American Airlines. Your employees made these heroes' day. Your support is beyond belief. I am proud to know one of your fine people from Raleigh-Durham and even more proud to call her, "Friend". Susan is just one of a great big family,

Thanks for giving these Veterans some lasting memories.
