This is so obviously offside. Look at the moment of kicking (0:16), the blue guy is in front of all the white guys: offside. Don't listen to the *American* commentator for starters, he's obviously ignorant of the offside rule and is drawing the attention to the moment the ball is received! A typical mistake for Americans and beginners in general to make.

Isnt the advantage suppose to go to the striker when they are in line with the defender? only his head was offside therefore it should have been allowed!

This is a clear cut case of something fifa does wrong all the time... the player that was offside isn't the one who scored the goal... sometimes they call it offside in this type of situation other times they don't. A perfect example is the previous game france played against Brazil... France scored a goal where the goal scorer was onside but another french player was offside and the goal was allowed
