@upallhours9 Agreed! I've been using Straight Talk's unlimited plan for a while and I couldn't agree with you more since it runs on both GSM AND CDMA. CDMA isn't optimized for smartphones so verizon is at a loss here with the iPhone. Granted Straight Talk doesn't have that big of a selection of phones to choose from but I'm in absolute love with my Nokia E71. I've saved hundreds from switching to Straight Talk from Verizon... and I'm never going back.

How can Verizon release this? It's CDMA, people! GSM is the truly superior standard.

CDMA is an out-dated, more limited technology. This is going backwards.

This is just like re-releasing VHS VCRs (only with more hype). -As long as you do that, people will buy it.
