Volcanos erupt in Alaska. Mt Redoubt yesterday 3/22/2009 and Mt Spur in 1992. Ash filled skys from the eruption.

You will really hate it when the snow melts. The dust and grit silt gets everywhere. Really hard in vehicles.

Redoubt is approx 100 miles south of Anchorage, and Mt Spur is approx 75 miles south.
