Is it an operation method?

It rises when the Right-Analog-Stick is inclined below. and It advances when the Left-Analog-Stick is inclined up.

It is not possible to operate it with the keyboard only.

Just buy a cheap analog gamepad. I got mine for about £5 from game, works perfectly.

You can certainly connect analog controls to the game, but you may have trouble doing it with a GC one.
