I think I like both english and japanese Transformers opening themes. Does not matter to me been anime fan since 1996.

I gotta admit, the U.S. version is a whole lot more catchy, but the JDM version is cool in a cute way I guess.

I love both openings myself. The Japanese version is adorable and longer than the English version, but the English version is just so iconic and friggen awesome. Haha, and I ADORE Starscream and all of his clones. He even brought one to the opening animation! XD

Both are great, but I like the Japanese intro a bit more. Of course the US Transformers theme is a sacred cow among internet culture nerds in an attempt to wank over anything 'retro'. So what are you gonna do?

American op sounds like shitty chinese fake. Japanese op sound more musically and much better. It's like comparing a drunk guy singing with a professional singer.

To be honest I personally think the Japanese intro music is awful in regards to the animation. the song it's self isn't too bad mind you as far as Japanese 80's pop goes.
