As a Hillsborough "veteran" I would comment as follows. This disaster was avoidable. The policing strategy was flawed. The vast majority of SY police did their very best in a horrible situation. Unless you were there it's hard to fully understand the events that contributed to this tragedy. 96 lost. Hundreds injured. Thousands scarred for life. This day will live forever in the memory of all LFC fans & many others & has changed football forever. We still need ...JUSTICE FOR THE 96. RIP

i am an arsenal fan i am 12 years old 30 minutes ago i had never heard of hillsborough
i would just like to say that even as a diehard "gooner" this is one of the saddest thing's i have ever seen and only now do i understand how devoted the liverpool fans were to save there family,friends or pretty much anyone who needed help
that was so brave and i will always admire those who helped save lives and i will honour those 96 people who perished almost entirely at the fault of the police

This is tragic. What is it with sport in the 70's and 80's having a very eery dark feel to it. Ive since accidents of F1 in the 70's and 80's and they just look worse on camera than modern day tragedys on camera.

Heyy, yeh for our A Level piece we devised a play called 'six minutes', I found it very upsetting too. This video was played on a big projector at the end, the only reason I put it on youtube was to show the other guys! Wasn't expecting so many views! Hope your performances went well!
